MEET AMBER
OWNER & FOUNDER OF PURPOSE INTERIORS. ORIGINALLY FROM A SUBURB OF CHICAGO, SHE NOW RESIDES IN LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL WITH HER FAMILY.
"But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." — Joshua 24:15
With over a decade and a half of experience in residential design, Amber founded Purpose Interiors with a clear mission: to create spaces that are not only stylish and refined but also deeply comforting and emotionally resonant. Amber believes that a home should serve a higher purpose, acting as a sanctuary where one’s soul is healed, heart is recharged, and prayers are lifted.

Amber’s journey into design began at a young age, inspired by hours spent at bookstores studying house plans and fueled by a natural inclination toward creating and building. Her passion led her to pursue a degree in Interior Design and a certificate in Perspective and Rendering. Her professional path started with a high-end custom cabinetry manufacturer and then took her to work as an Assistant Designer and Project Manager for a renowned Kitchen and Bath designer in the Northshore of Chicago.

With a deep understanding of the importance of collaboration, Amber excels in bringing together clients, architects, builders, and designers to create cohesive and inspiring environments. Her strengths include a boundless source of ideas, a relentless work ethic, a clear vision, and a genuine, down-to-earth personality.

In search of new inspirations and the healing energy of the sun, Amber, along with her husband and two children, relocated from their suburban Chicago roots to the sunny shores of Lakewood Ranch, Florida, in the fall of 2021. They purchased a new construction home, which they are now transforming from a 'builder-grade' structure into a personalized sanctuary designed to warmly welcome their out-of-state family members. Their long-term vision includes acquiring acreage to build a homestead where their children can grow up immersed in nature’s embrace.

When she’s not immersed in design projects, Amber enjoys cooking for her family, grounding herself on the sandy shores, sipping bone broth, spending quality time with loved ones, re-purposing furniture, renovating her own home, or exploring the outdoors with her two little boys.
